烏克蘭人，於蘇聯解體前不久的1989年，生於基輔附近的小城沃澤爾。大學分別在基輔和德國波鴻大學研修日耳曼語文學系。在家鄉烏克蘭時曾任職於資訊科技業。烏俄戰爭出逃到德國前，擔任過人像攝影師。德語流利，目前暫居德國杜塞道夫。
