Japanese Antique early 1900's Jurojin Rough Hewn Statue Wabi-Sabi 11.5" Itomasu it remains in very goodThis is an antique Japanese statue of Jurojin (also Fukurokuji), the god of Prosperity and longevity. He leans on his staff in quiet serenity from a long life well lived. This piece is made of a single limb of a keyaki tree leaving most of the tree part in tact. A beautiful example of the wabi sabi aesthetic. Height = 11. 5" With = 5" Depth = 4" This object was found in Japan and brought over to our gallery in Portland, OR
