Vinsobres is the northernmost cru of the southern Rhne Valley. Located at an altitude of 350m, the terraces of Les Piallats are southeast facing and composed of grey marl and banks of gravel of fluvial origin. In this terroir, Grenache, though at its northern limit, reaches optimum ripeness and Syrah exhibits an astonishing freshness. Harvested by hand, then destemmed, the
