Antique Japanese (c1930's) Rabbit Design Kataguchi Chawan Signed Ceramic Tea Bowl 4" Furniture The lidded top section isThis is a ceramic bowl known as a kataguchi chawan (tea bowl with a pour spout). It likely dates to the early Showa Era (c. 1930) and has the signature on the bottom of the Japanese artist or kiln. It's beautifully decorated with two rabbits. the motif celebrates the Year of the Rabbit. Cute bunnies! This spouted chawan measures 4" wide by 2 1 8" tall (10 x 2. 5 cm). Having been carefully displayed for many decades it remains in fine condition.
