5" tall and hand painted in the traditional Shochikubai (Pine/Bamboo/Plum Blossom) motif

It is well made with all wooden pin construction and has its original multiple coats of Japanese lacquer finish

This kokeshi has a large head of hair with a curled silver wire that can be used as a paper clip to hold noats reminders or small cards

Antique Japanese Taisho Era c1920's Nakashima Ware Cup & Saucer Geisha Haribako Derived from similar figures inThis is a set of antique Japanese Taisho Era (c. 1920's) Nakashima ware ceramic cup & saucer all printed in blue, red, white and green with design of geisha at a spring hanami or flower viewing festival. Marked "Made in Japan". These are made with high fired ceramics for lasting durability. The larger plate measures 5. 25" in diameter. The cup and saucer are in great shape however the larger plate has a chip and hairlines (please see photos).
