Late 19th to early 20th Century Louis Vuitton Steamer Trunk bust purchased by the previous ownersLouis Vuitton Steamer Trunk, an early model, French, late 19th to early 20th Century with the serial # 148289, and monogrammed "E. M. D." with "Baltimore" to both ends. Interior label to back panel of the lid for "I. Rue Scribe Paris Louis Vuitton 149 New Bond St. LONDON". Replaced lock, all original hardware stamped. Interior is a deep ribbon cage, presumably for hats.
