A Good George IV Regency Period Upholstered Wingback Armchair c.1820 sub-Antiques some were gildedOrigin: English Period: George IV Provenance: Unknown Date: c. 1815 30 Height: 42 inches Width: 27 inches Depth: 24 inches (all at maximum) The beautifully shaped, generously proportioned and fully upholstered button back armchair in moss green with rope twist piping, the mahogany frame standing on very finely carved and turned baluster shaped octagonal front legs with rear sabre legs having the original brass castors surviving from early nineteenth
