Vintage Japanese Chawan Hand Turned Showa Era Jubako copper alloys and vitreous glassJapanese Shino ware chawan (matcha tea bowl) with a soft, feldspathic glaze showing natural variation in cream, grey, and light earth tones. The form is rounded with a slightly irregular rim and a well defined foot. The surface shows subtle speckling and pooling typical of Shino style glazing, with a warmer interior tone from use and firing. Unsigned and without box.
