I think the dress was manufactured with a couple of rows of stitches to reinforce the waist and one has unravelled in some places at the front

This vintage skirt has been carefully looked after and is in excellent condition for its age

Although this dress is over sixty years old it still presents beautifully but may be not as vibrant as it was originally
