Grey Lacquer Patterned Armoire Bookends The work that went intoShanxi, circa 1920 This impressive, large cabinet would once have been used for storing clothes, fabrics and other possessions in a Chinese home. It has been restored and given a new lease of life with a shiny grey green distressed lacquer. Intricate lattice diamond carvings extend over the full length of each door, with a larger diamond incorporating a floral design set centrally, adding an unusual decorative element to the cabinet. Fitted on wooden
