Great as a side table next to a sofa, for storing towels in a bathroom or as a bedside table. Using proper dovetail joints this chest is strong enough to sit on. It includes a metal stay to hold the lid open when required. The handles and circular lock plate on the front are in brass and give the trunk its classic Chinese style.
