1830 Rare Italian Mezzaro Wall hanging swedish gustavian L Møllers møbelfabrik in DenmarkA rare and lovely Italian Mezzaro, delle vacchette (with cows) made in Genoa, c. 1830, cotton, block printed. Some repairs. Mezzari were made in Italy in the Indienne tradition, often in the form of Palampores, as is this one. Note the exuberant floral and bird border.
