The Matcha I have is from Kyushu the 3rd largest island and one of the most beautiful, warm and lush green locations in Japan. I carry the medium grade ceremonial Matcha which can be whisked either thick or thin. As always with quality teas a little goes a long way. I personally prefer the thicker taste and I drink this tea on its own to enjoy the full spectrum of flavor. If you are
