This is an antique Chinese cabinet made during the Qing Dynasty in the late 1800's
Vintage Chinese Traditional Cabinet or Chest Lock & Key Brass 5.5" Haori particularly around the New YearThis is a vintage Chinese traditional brass lock & key for a large chest, cabinet or wardrobe. It has all of its original patina. It is still operational with included key (see pictures). With exception of minor signs of past use, (minor oxidation, and an aged patina) this lock remains in overall very good condition. It measure 5 1 2" wide by 2" tall by 1 1 4" thick (14 x 5 x 3 cm).
