The 'horse hoof' shaped feet and curved aprons that stretch between each leg give it a distinctive oriental feel but otherwise the style is quite plain

The door hardware and handles are in an aged brass

Square Trunk, Cream Lacquer spo-default this beautifully simple black lacquerWith a modern cream lacquer finish this smaller, cube shaped blanket chest has brass handles and a circular lock plate on the front giving the trunk its classic Chinese style. Ideal as a side table next to a sofa, for storing towels in a bathroom or as a bedside table. Like our other chests it is made from solid reclaimed wood using traditional dovetail joints and is strong enough to sit on. It includes a metal stay to hold the lid open when required.
