The Damascus Red - Chequered Desert Iron Wood Knife Color:BLUE and ribbed neckThis Purdey damascus steel knife comes in our classic shape featuring a chequered Desert Ironwood handle, replicating the same chequering used on our gun stocks. It comes with the unique Purdey mosaic pins and is finished with jimping on the blade and a hand molded leather sheath. Damascus steel is made when two types of steel are forged together and folded multiple times to form a desired pattern. It is then etched in an acid which eats away the
