Plants form a low clump of coarse green leaves, with branching stems held high above the leaves bearing medium sized rounded flowers. Mrs Bradshaw variety has scarlet orange, semi double blooms. Removing spent flowers regularly will encourage new flowers. Plants can be pruned back hard after blooming, to rejuvenate the foliage. Clumps should be
