Hand Pressed Glass Cup Plate "City of Norfolk VA" Sea The Sloop PollyThis Historical Reproduction Cup Plate features the inscription "Town 1682 Borough 1736 City 1845" across the top and "City of Norfolk Virginia" across the bottom. In the center is an image of the town seal of Norfolk, consisting of a clipper ship, a plow, and three sheaves of wheat. Measuring 3. 5" in diameter, this cup plate was made by hand in the early to mid 1980s, using a glass press and hand carved pressing mold, following the same process used
