Mountain Man Standing flower A barn in the background"I took a class in Life Drawing at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. One of the models was dressed as a buck skinner. All of his clothing and gear were authentic to that time period, made by himself or obtained by trading with others. Yukon, our model, loved reenacting the Old West time period and would earn extra money by dressing as a mountain man and posing for artists. I also took a lot of photos of him.
