Two Helmet Plates Auction The document is dated toGrenoble Firefighters Helmet Plate (in brass, illustrating a shield bearing an exploding grenade, surmounted by a crown, flanked by branches of laurel leaves at the left and oak leaves at the right, with a ribbon banner above inscribed "SAPEURS POMPIERS GRENOBLE", hand engraved "France" on the reverse of the shield, measuring 156 mm (w) x 80 mm (h), screwpost with nut); and Unidentified Helmet Plate (two piece construction, silver castle insignia,
