Germany, HJ. A Member’s Knife, Early-Issue Example, by Anton Wingen Jr. Auction 5 mm (h) x 27(HJ Fahrtenmesser). An HJ members knife, measuring 25. 5 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 14 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade which retains some factory original sharpening to the tip and lower edge. Acid etched onto the obverse of the blade is a motto of BLUT UND EHRE! (BLOOD AND HONOUR!) in cursive script. The reverse is maker marked A. W.
