A Death Notice To Family Of Fallen Soldier In Baden Regiment, 1917 United Republic of a “Mit Luftschiff LZ 127The note carries a stamp of the 1st Company of 1st Baden Life Grenadier Regiment No. 109. It is dated in the field to March 15, 1917 and addressed to family Georg Koch in Edingen (present day Edingen Neckarhausen, southwest Germany). It is stated that Grenadier Jakob Koch died on March 13 of wounds received in combat, and that he was buried with military honours on the soldier cemetery in Mangiennes. The note is signed by a lieutenant of the reserve
