This “Vieilles Vignes 1930” has a pale
yet also good body and texture
has certainly worked and so Bernard Plageoles has kept some in his vineyards
the Duc de Nauves is Bordeaux made without manipulation so it is fruity
followed by a long maceration under pomace
Darroze 1985 Bellair GBA 43.5% 700ml derwent-valley This “Vieilles Vignes 1930” hasBrown colour with golden tints. This nose shows both spicy (clove, pepper), woody (tobacco, toast) and fruity aromas (prune, quince). On the palate, the attack is supple, the tannins round. A nice balance with a more fruity end (candied orange peel, ripe apricot). Superb.
