Two Medals & Awards Archive face plate affixed to plainMedal for the Russo Japanese War 1904 1905, Bronze Grade (in bronze, measuring 27. 7 mm in diameter, original ribbons, mounted to a five sided brass suspension with pinback); and Medal for the General Mobilization 1914 (in bronze gilt, measuring 28 mm in diameter, original ribbon). Scattered gilt wear on the latter medal, contact marks on both, very fine. Footnote: The Medal for the Russo Japanese War was instituted on January 21, 1905 during the
