This special technique is traditionally practiced by the Tangkhul Naga tribes of the Ukhrul district of Manipur, India. The pottery has a rich black texture and is made by crushing weather rock serpentinite and clay. Every piece is shaped by hand, then polished and etched by skilled artisans with the
