Germany, Imperial. A First World War Patriotic Brooch Auction Archive demonstrating some tarnishing and a(Patriotische Brosche). Constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, the obverse consisting of a silvered disc featuring knotted Germanic designs, topped by leaves featuring a green painted finish, in turn overlaid by a black enameled 1914 Iron Cross, the reverse with a clip hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, measuring 41 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
