Constructed of silver, the obverse bearing an engraved inscription of KAMPFGESCHWADER BOELCKE NO. 154, above a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika and dates of 1. 5. 34 1. 12. 36, with a glass insert, affixed with four rivets to a card stock backer with a faux blue leather liner, with a fold out flap bearing a retractable stand, close by four swivel clips, the edge bearing a crown and crescent moon indicating German
