Constructed of gilded silver, on loop for suspension, the obverse bearing a raised and leftward facing profile of Prince Regent Luitpold, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a central raised depiction of St. George slaying a dragon, circumscribed by an inscription of ZUR ERINNERUNG AN DEN 8.
