Picking up where classic OC bands like Uniform Choice left off, Outspoken played a brooding style of hardcore that favored mid tempo emotional mosh parts over fast, aggressive bursts. The band released three 7"s, including 1990's Survival, and an LP before calling it quits in the mid 90s. Almost all of their records were released on guitarist Mike Hartsfield's New Age
