Germany, Wehrmacht. A 1939 Clasp To The Iron Cross I Class, Type Ii With Case, By Paul Meybauer Auction illustrating a rope and inscribed(Wiederholungsspange 1939 zum Eisernen Kreuz I. Klasse 1914, 2. Form mit Etui). Reinstituted 1 September 1939. (1940 1945 issue). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of a Wehrmacht eagle perched on top of a wreathed mobile swastika, in turn situated above a trapezoidal plaque bearing a raised date of 1939 on a pebbled background, the reverse with a crimped hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with LDO
