Podere 414 Sangiovese IGT ‘Badilante’ 2023 frank-phelan reminding one of our tastersIntense ruby red colour. Spicy on the nose with hints of red fruit and a wonderfully subtle woody note. Pure fruit takes centre stage on the palate, unadorned, straightforward and cheerful with cherries, redcurrants and a present but rather restrained acidity structure. Long and persistent on the palate, with iodised tannins, a fruity, tart finish and a floral final. A great and extremely affordable red wine experience from the Maremma! SUPERIORE. DE
