Germany, Third Reich. A Civilian Gas Mask With Bag certificate_of_authenticity Captain Carbert was taken on(Gasmaske). This is an extremely well preserved Second War period civilian gas mask, constructed of rubber, with transparent golden yellow eyepieces secured with rubber seals. The obverse features a raised tab that permits exhalation during wear. The reverse features multiple cotton straps with an adjustable aluminum buckle, facilitating a flush fit with the wearers face. The opening disk for the filtration apparatus is lined with yellowed cotton.
