This is an extremely well preserved Second War period civilian gas mask, constructed of rubber, with transparent golden yellow eyepieces secured with rubber seals. The obverse features a raised tab that permits exhalation during wear. The reverse features multiple cotton straps with an adjustable aluminum buckle, facilitating a flush fit with the wearers face. The opening disk for the filtration apparatus is lined with yellowed cotton.
