Germany, Third Reich. An Academy Mess Hall Silver Salad Fork Archive National Defense Medal with one(Salatgabel). Constructed of silver, featuring four sharpened prongs in barb shape, the obverse plain, the reverse stamped with a NSDAP style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, above an unidentified academy insignia, with a silver mark of WMF 90 2,5 indicating German manufacture, measuring 46 mm (w) x 195 mm (l), weighing 57. 0 grams, in extremely fine condition.
