Asperia ashburtonia from the Proterozoic "Duck Creek Dolomite". Unusual colouration caused by natural iron oxide weathering. Age is approx. 2 billion years. From near Paraburdoo in Western Australia. Approx. 150mm x 85mm, 7mm thick. It weighs 175 grams.
