Constructed of silver, the obverse bearing a raised German national eagle overlaid by a mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of FR RETTUNG AUS GEFAHR (FOR RESCUE FROM DANGER) within a circular oak leaf wreath, the edge demonstrating the remnants of the makers mark of the Prussian Mint in Berlin, measuring 49. 88 mm in
