Netherlands, NSB. A Rare Mussert Cross for Combatants United Republic of measuring approximately 220 mm (w)(Mussertkruis). Constructed of gilded bronze with multi coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of a Maltese Cross with black and red enameled arms and with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse overlaid by a central white enameled medallion bearing a gilt swastika defaced by a Wolfsangel, situated above a semi circular oak leaf wreath, the reverse overlaid by a
