A Cross Of Military Merit, IV Class Officer consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac Preliminary award document/acknowledgement(Cruz Peruana al Mrito Militar). Instituted in 1949. Three piece construction, in silvered and gilt bronze with white, black and green enamels, unmarked, measuring 53 mm (w) x 84 mm (h) inclusive of its wreath suspension, intact enamels, very light contact, original ribbon fed through a hanger with stickpin attachment, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Cross of Military Merit was instituted in February 1949 and is awarded to members of the armed
