Vintage ABC No Rio "The Matinee" Show Schedule Flyer Disco NY as a benefit forABC No Rio is a venue in New York City's Lower East Side. It was founded in 1980 by squatters who took over a building on 156 Rivington Street. While ABC No Rio is known as a space for activism and community, it is also always known for being a home for hardcore in NYC. They regularly hosted hardcore matinees on Saturdays. The venue has been closed for renovations since 2016 but has plans to reopen in the near future. This original ABC No Rio matinee
