Super Tuscan Il Blu made its debut with the 1988 vintage and is a blend of 50% Sangiovese
all are recent/good vintages (no old plonk here) and all are valued at more than the individual average – in most cases
and offers a lovely soft finish with polished tannins
the wine becomes more and more saline
This one-hectare site faces south/southeast and the soils are almost pure limestone
