Description
called Königswingert (“King’s Vineyard”)
Under the guidance of Alexandre's widow
Pere Ventura was created in 1992
picked and made to be elegant in style
While most entry-level wines from this region today are based on Tempranillo (a variety both easier and more profitable to grow)
Chateau Des Tours Vin de Pays Vaucluse Rouge 2015 Size::1 Bottle called Königswingert (“King’s Vineyard”)This Vin de Pays is made from Merlot, Syrah, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon. In the locality of "Bussire", consisting of gravelly alluvium, the vines are grown without herbicides or pesticides. The maceration is relatively short (12 to 15 days) to extract a rather fruity wine profile. The Merlot is aged in barriques (30% new) for 12 months. From its early days, it has notes of black fruit and leather.
