A 213th Infantry Battalion "Toronto Americans" Cap Badge, Type I with "Acta Non Verba" Hold light crazing on the undersideIn browning copper, voided, maker marked "ELLIS BROS" on the reverse, measuring 47. 7 mm (w) x 44. 3 mm (h), both lugs intact, very light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in St. Catharines, Ontario with mobilization headquarters at Toronto under the authority of G. O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed January 21, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel B. J. McCormick with a strength of 463 officers and men.
