Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a leftward facing profile of Germania, circumscribed by an inscription of SUEDWEST AFRIKA 1904 06, the reverse bearing a raised monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II, circumscribed by an inscription of DEN SIEGREICHEN STREITERN (TO THE VICTORIOUS FIGHTERS), unmarked, measuring 32. 58 mm in diameter, weighing 17. 7 grams, in
