(1905 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with World War clasp, the obverse with a central monogram of King Friedrich August III, within a laurel wreath, the reverse with an inscription of FRIEDRICH AUGUST MEDAILLE, within a wreath of stylized oak leaves, unmarked, measuring 28. 54 mm in diameter,
