A Large 1943 Photo Of Obergefreiter (Ek2, Wound Badge) With Dedication To Wife Hold most of which is unfortunatelyMeasuring 180x238mm, better than very fine condition with light scuffing and light moisture induced warping. The picture shows a Heer soldier, possibly infantry, in the rank of Obergefreiter (Corporal), wearing the Iron Cross 2nd Class ribbon and a Wound Badge in Black. Judging from the background the picture was probably taken in southern Europe. On the reverse is has been dedicated on July 26, 1943 to my dear, faithful wife on her name day, from
