In silvered bronze with red, green and blue enamels, unmarked, gilt monogram of King Carol I on the obverse centrepiece, measuring 42. 15 mm (w) x 66. 5 mm (h inclusive of its crown suspension), intact enamels, very light contact, correct replacement modern ribbon with hook and eye, near mint.
