Lansky in co ordination with his partner Charles "Lucky" Luciano developed a gambling empire that spanned the world with interest in operations stretching from Las Vegas, to Cuba, to London. Lansky was never actually found guilty of any crime higher than illegal gambling, and has a legacy as one of the most financially successful gangsters in history.
