In silvered and gilt metal with red enamels, measuring 36 mm in diameter, very light contact, intact enamels, original ribbon with pinback, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Air Force Vermilion Bow Medal was instituted on June 14, 1945 and awarded for 180 flight hours or 60 missions.
