Open up the dictionary on Maconnais Chardonnay and this is what you will find. There's a sharp minerality to the wine, leavened by a ten month period in old oak barrels. Apple, orange, and peach fruit feature on the full bodied palate, before an elegant mineral finish. This is a wonderfully versatile Burgundy for creamy mushroom pastas.
