A Heer Gebirgsjger Officers visor cap, constructed of smooth field grey wool. The cap features reinforced side walls, lined on the exterior with a dark green wool cap band. Light green piping fully surrounds the circumference of the crown, as well as the top and bottom of the cap band, indicating Gebirgsjger personnel. Pinned onto the peak of the cap is an insignia in the form of an aluminum Wehrmacht eagle clutching
