A pair of extremely well preserved Wehrmacht winter sentry boots, constructed of a thick wooden sole secured to heavy pieces of leather with hobnails, in turned lined by wool. Each boot is closed with dual leather straps with adjustable magnetic metal buckles. Stitched into the interior of each boot is a manufacturers label reading Anton Bartowski, Schuhfabrik, Berlin, S016, 1943. Both the label and exterior sole bear a size
